First Friday Cocktail Roundtable

Event Ended: Friday May 3rd, 2019

It’s not only Friday, our favorite night of the week to kick start your weekend adventures! But it’s Friday Friday and also our Spirited Room Cocktail Roundtable.

Come check us out, drink some tasty cocktails and let us know which, in your opinion is the best. It’s a friendly competition, as we invite guest bartenders, to compete in determining the craft cocktail of the year. Friday, May 3rd, we’ll have our Glenwood South neighbor, Chris Brennan from Plates Neighborhood Kitchen slinging cocktails behind the bar. Amanda Dzengeleski has perfected the art of cocktail making and has one out of the ordinary cocktails to share alongside Chris.

This event is every First Friday of the Month, 6 to 10pm, with $8 craft cocktails you can find no where else!

Amanda Dengeleski – Vidrio

Amanda has a way with people. Maybe it’s her passion for meeting others, making new friends and creating unique experiences. It’s no wonder she has chosen the path of the service industry in which she has thrived in for the last seven years. Her interactions with guests, whether meeting for the first time, or a neighborhood regular, she lends a more personal style of interaction, enabling her to make a connection beyond expectation. When she’s not behind the bar at Vidrio, Amanda tries to take time and travel to new places. Her love for travel has resulted in many unique experiences in crafting new concoctions. She approaches every day as an opportunity to learn more about good food and eclectic cocktails, whether she is serving it or savoring it. Amanda is grateful for her first class bar fam who shares her overuse of sarcasm and sassy persona.

Chris Brennan – Plates Neighborhood Kitchen

Chris Brennan is an up and coming bartender in Raleigh, North Carolina and the bar manager at Plates Neighborhood Kitchen. He has worked in the industry for the better part of ten years, using his training in both the front and back of house to create a perfectly balanced experience of creativity, innovation and hospitality. A story teller at heart, Chris’s cocktails imbue a sense of wonder as their taste and appearance evolve even while they are being enjoyed. Growing up in the small town vibe of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Chris developed a strong passion for local products and he strives to show off seasonal flavors from the NC Farmers Market as well as liquors distilled here in NC. When he isn’t racking his brain to come up with his next clever concoction, he is creating worlds and planning adventures for his friends as a Game Master in Dungeons and Dragons.
