NACE Cares Challenge

Vidrio’s Executive Chef, Aaron Whitcomb will be competing on September 10th, in the upcoming National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) Cares Challenge, Bites & Pints.

The Bites & Pints Challenge will bring together 16 chef’s to compete on bite sized food paired with local beers, and guests get to vote on their favorites! Not only is the entire night a competition, but there is also a silent auction filled with goods and services from all over the Triangle, like hotel stays and restaurant certificates.

Vidrio is partnering up with Trophy Brewing and coming up with a perfectly paired dish with their new brew, Now They Write Letters, a New England IPA. The brew has tons of Citra, Motueka & Cascade throughout to make it a truly unique NEIPA. Juicy and Tropical with a slight piney resinous-ness. Flaked oats help support the hop flavor.
